Mascoutin Valley State Park Trail
31-mile trail extends from FDL to Berlin. Developed FDL to Rosendale and Ripon to Berlin. Open year round for bicyclists, walkers, runners, and equestrian use. Begins N of Scott St on Rolling Meadows Dr, FDL.

Northwestern Trail
2.8 mile trail begins at Ripon Public Library, corner of Pacific/Jefferson St. Trail extends W to FDL county line through urban and rural areas. Open year round for walking, running, and bicycling.

Old Marsh Road in Horicon Marsh
Open for hiking and biking Sat & Sun during June, July, and August.

Peebles Trail
Crushed limestone trail begins at Winnebago Dr and extends east 5 miles to the Prairie Trail along Hwy 151 FDL bypass. The Peebles Trail picks up again at the intersection of Hwy WH (formerly Hwy 149) and Hwy 151 and extends east up the Ledge into St. Peter. Open for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing.

Prairie Trail
This 7-mile paved trail begins at Martin Rd on the south side of FDL, extends around the east side of the city, connecting with the Peebles Trail and ends at Hwy WH (formerly Hwy 149) in Peebles. Open for running, hiking, bicycling, roller blading and cross-country skiing.

Wild Goose State Trail
34-mile multi-use trail for biking, hiking and snowmobiling. Magnificent views and abundance of nature. Restrooms and picnic areas on route. Begins in FDL at Rolling Meadows Dr.

Birding Birding in Fond du Lac
Over 30 species have been spotted in Lakeside Park at Frazier Point, East Greenway Park, and on the Pebbles Trail, including a bald eagle in Lakeside Park at Frazier Point.
