Big Kite Day – Soar on the Shores of Lake Winnebago

The Friends of Lakeside Park are excited to announce we will be hosting Big Kite Day once again at Lakeside Park!
The Wisconsin Kiters Club is one of the most active, highly spirited, and family-oriented kiting clubs in the county. See this spectacular show of kites Soar on the Shores of Lake Winnebago!

There will be kite making for the kids along with rock painting and god’s eye making. Fond du Lac Aeromodellers will also have a table where you can learn all about their club and radio-controlled flying.
There will be $1 water for purchase. The Friend’s merchandise tent will be set up, including the one-of-a-kind pieces made from actual siding from the Lighthouse. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. All funds raised are used by the Friends to benefit Lakeside Park. Recent purchases include the picnic tables added to Lighthouse Point.
